Cher's former daughter turned son Chaz Bono is planning to marry Jennifer Elia "within a year."
According to Chaz:
"We've been engaged actually for two years, kind of had to put things on hold a little bit" ...cuz of his gender reassignment procedure.
They've been together for almost 6 years and no that Chaz is officially considered a man...they can legally get married.
The couple hopes that Chaz's step-mother Mary Bono Mack (Sonny's widow) can preside over their nuptials.
Jennifer is uber excited about the sex change:
"When you have a partner who's happy in their skin and happy in general, not depressed and feeling completely in the wrong body, it changes everything."
