According to various reports, Phoenix is on Clint Eastwood's most wanted list for his bio-pic of J. Edgar Hoover starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
While Leo will be filling the shoes of Hoover, Phoenix is at the top of the list to play Hoover's lifelong pal (and who knows what else), Clyde Tolson.

Willie...if there's one person guaranteed to keep Joaquin on the straight-and-narrow path it is one of the best director's in the biz...Clint Eastwood! I can hear that low gravely voice saying..."Shut up and get on the set...or do you feel lucky? Well, do you punk?" LOL!!!
