Dcist.com is reporting it, and has raw video footage of the infamous Bumble Bee hitting a DC Police vehicle during the Transformers 3 filming taking place on Columbus Day.
According to reports from Fox 5 and WUSA-TV 9, it was a REAL ACCIDENT, not part of the show.
About a minute into the video (which you can watch below), you can look through the trees and see Bumble Bee crossing into the intersection, hitting a vehicle coming down the street, and bystanders running to the vehicles.
Two quick thoughts:
1) After the horrible accident that took place during Transformers 3 filming in Chicago, I thought the production crew was going to be very careful with any and all activities in DC.
2) Why is a DC Police vehicle cruising down the street in the middle of the filming location?!?!?
