Jackass 3D Sets Record, Johnny Knoxville The Toast Of Hollywood This Week

No, it wasn't the record for most bones broken in one movie.  It was the most money made in one weekend in October.

While the ending of Jackass 3D felt like Johnny Knoxville and the boys were trying to say good-bye, Paramount and MTV Films will be doing everything possible to lure them back for a fourth installment after Jackass 3D raked in over $50 Million in its opening weekend (those 3D ticket prices certainly helped).

That opening weekend set a new record as Jackass 3D eclipsed the previous record of $48 Million by Scary Movie 3.

If this is the way to be #1, look for me to do a stunt on NewsPlus.  I will be jumping into a swimming pool full of mouse traps while only wearing a speedo made of swiss cheese.

Bruce Willis proved he's no chump with a very respectable $22.5 Million weekend take for his new comedy action film, Red, while The Social Network came in third with $11 Million.
