It is finally here!!!!!!!

This week, primarily Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Transformers 3 invades DC to shoot scenes for next summer's biggest blockbuster.

Where will they be?  Well, you can find out some information from DC's Office of Motion Picture and Television Development.

It looks like Maryland Avenue SW, Constitution Avenue, Independence Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue down by the Newseum and the National Archives will be the hottest spots to see the action, especially since the Production Alert warns people that "pyrotechnics" will be used during some of the night time filming!!!!  My heart is all a twitter!!!

If you want to see the action for yourself, check out the Production Hotline at 202-540-8039 to find out which streets are closed on which days and nights while the movie is being shot.

Also, Ain't It Cool News had a great summary of street closures and parking restrictions that will help you plan your stalking adventure.

Plus, Arlington gets in on the action as the production will be filming around the Air Force Memorial on Columbus Day from 5 - 9 PM.

I'll try to get some photos for you, but, keep in mind, big mean Hollywood goons have been known to stop people like me from taking photos of movies in production.
