Has The Hollywood Hack Attack Begun? - Nude Photos Of Stars Showing Up On The Internet

|

blakelively.jpgA couple months ago, Vanessa Hudgens met with the FBI after nude photos of her were stolen from her cell phone or personal computer, then put on the internet for everyone to Google.  However, the hacking didn't end with Hudgens in March, and I have to wonder if we are about to see a massive flood of similar photos.

At the time, Scarlett Johansson, Ali Larter, Miley Cyrus, Jessica Alba, Demi Lovato and more were named as possible victims of one of the most elaborate and aggressive hacking rings law enforcement has ever seen.  Since then, Hollywood and Washington, DC have been bracing for embarrassing, incriminating photos to be released (several politicians may have also been hacked by the same group).

Right about now, anyone with a modicum of fame who has naked photos on their phones should be trembling with fear.  On Wednesday, Blake Lively was the subject of alleged nude photos posted on the internet.  While the beautiful blond in those pictures looked very much like The Gossip Girl star, her representatives stated she was not in those snapshots and has never taken nude photographs of herself.

Instead of the story ending Wednesday night after millions of page views and even more jokes, the person responsible for posting the photos on Wednesday posted even more on Thursday, along with a vulgar message taunting Lively's people to continue to deny her involvement.  If you ask me, that's not the actions of an angry ex-boyfriend or vengeful former employee seeking to embarrass her.  That's a hacker who wants to show the world he or she has pulled off the dirty deed, and doesn't appreciate the denials.

On Thursday,  MMA fighter (and husband of porn star Jenna Jameson) Tito Ortiz was the victim of a hack on his twitter account.  The hacker sent a photo of a fully nude Ortiz to all of his followers.  Ortiz admitted the photo was his, and taken from his phone.

If you ask me, the hackers have started their campaign of havoc.  Hudgens, Lively and Ortiz may be the first victims, but how long until more photos are released by the hackers, who are still being pursued by the FBI?

Amazingly, it might not have been that hard to pull of the heists.  It is believed the hackers simply exploited easy to guess passwords, or found the answers to security questions needed to re-set passwords, then changed the passwords to gain access to the photographic booty.
