The S/S 2011 RTW collections were all about the strong, bold, chic, and feminine woman. Dresses in stunning shades of forest green, canary yellow, plum, turquoise, and white. Bold prints reminiscent of the Aztecs, suits with pants and shorts made for the woman on the go. In no particular order I share with you my picks for the best collections of the spring and summer 2011 season. 

D.A Wallach is lead singer of the critically acclaimed duo Chester French. The band made waves in the music world after releasing their widely popular star studded mix-tape called Jacques Jams, Vol 1: Endurance featuring appearances by Solange Knowles, Janelle Monae, Diddy, Jadakiss, Pharrell Williams, Jermaine Dupri to name a few. Soon after they released their debut album Love the Future in April 2009. I got a chance to ask Mr. Wallach a few questions as he and Max Drummey record their highly anticipated next album.

New York Fashion Week is all about fabulous clothes. Nearly as important as the shows, however, is the nightlife. Whether you are a designer, publicist, writer, stylist, celebrity, or intern, everyone is working endless hours to make magic happen on the runway. In light of this, it's no surprise that the "work hard, party hard" mentality is in full swing during fashion week.
