Ruthie's Back, But She's Not Happy
Finally! After a long wait, 7th Heaven's getting its edge back with a guest appearance from Mackenzie Rosman -- Ruthie!
That doesn't mean that Ruthie's happy to be there, though. Apparently Annie and Eric are flying to Scotland to bring her home -- against her will! Will Ruthie pout her way through the episode, or will she give us some trademark zingers? Either way, we can't wait to see her this Sunday. Can you?

I think Ruthie is just where she needs to be. She is at an age where she is argumentative and wants her own way, the thing they need to show us is how to get a handle on it. All the kids went through their different rebellions, this is at least the beginning of Ruthie's. She is great, I wish she did not seem so self-centered. She is a teen growing up in a good family. She will turn out ok in the end, it is just a struggle to get to the end.

Ruthie is very selfish.
I really dont like Ruthie at all. Never did. She is very selfcentered and bleek. She needs to get it together because if she dont her dad is gunna die and shes gunna regret everythingg!

Does anyone know where I can read episode recaps? Since the switch to Sunday nights I have been unable to view regularly.

Why don't you bring the "Dina" character back for Simon to fall in love with? She was his first (and by far the best) girlfriend he ever had. Also, Ruthie needs just a cute guy her own age from high school to go out with, without too much DRAMA.

I was wondering when Sam and David will be getting haircuts. Also, I don't like the "Mack" character. Do we really need him in this show?

I think Ruthie's attitude is going to get better, she might just need to get ajusted to the idea first.

I think that Ruthie is being a spoiled-ass brat, but I can understand because she wants to be herself for once and she wants to be away from her family for awhile. I mean she is the last teen at home and she probally wants more freedom then she would get in Glenoak. I hope she does get a new attitude though.

her voice is wacked dog!

i watched 7th heaven on sunday and i gotta tell ya, ruthie doesnt deserve to be back. she was disrespecting her sis lucy and her parents. i understand what happens at her age but come on, they need to bring her ass back home because of her father, anyways good thing shes going to next episode or i woulda been pissed off at ruthie.

man what is this all about anyway i just hope every one is okay

Ruthie needs to mature a bit and lose the chip on her shoulder. She should change her name to "Ruth" if she ever does plan on growing up. She needs an injection of Lucy. That may bring her back down to earth. Until then....

So Ruthie returns? I haven't watched in a while, but I don't miss her at all. The show is getting ridiculous (more ridiculous) and it is like now I watch just to make fun of it the next day.

Ofcourse she ain't happy...what did you expect by bringing that little brat back? she ain't ever happy unless she's happy and she doesnt care who she hurts, why is she even back? wow...

i am pretty excited to see Ruthie back... we need some more girls in here now that we dont see mary anymore.

I am not really happy that Ruthie is back. when Ms. Rosman chose to opt out for this season and only make 5+ appearances for the season, she dug her grave. Her character has brought down the show over the past two seasons anyway.
I've loved 7th Heaven for the past few years (Thanks to DVD and ABC Family) It has not been as good for the past 2-3 seasons, but I still like it very much and will continue till its end.
The Worst show The CW put on this season was "Runaway". I saw the coming attractions during the CW Preview Special and I could not believe they were actually allowing this show to air. 7th Heaven returned because The CW cancelled Everwood. They were STOOPID! REALLY STOOOOPID!!! I don't know about the CW's IQ level but I think it is under 10. Runaway STUNK!! I never even watched an episode. Get Smart CW BRING BACK EVERWOOD!! Have Everwood and 7th Heaven back to back on MONDAY NIGHTS WHERE THEY BELONG and not on Sundays. Jeez. maybe an IQ of 5. GET A LIFE CW!!
btw Mackenzie, its good to have you back even if you don't really want to be here. Show us good and MAKE US CHANGE OUR MINDS!
Thanks
Gary

Whenever there is a 7th Heaven story posted here, why does everyone go on the attack about its renewal? Can't people just make a comment about Ruthie being back for the rest of the season without saying "they should've kept Everwood!"? Of course....we all miss Everwood...but it was cancelled SIX months ago. It's time to move on and enjoy what we have in the present. Complaining does nothing beneficial.

i am so exicted that she has returned, i love her .

guest appearance? isnt she a regular?
i'm sooo out of the loop. ):

Of course she's not happy. She's never happy anymore unless she has things go her way. She's way too imature for her age yet she wants to be sexy and date guys all the time.
It was a nice break while she was gone.

Posted by: donna | November 9, 2006 8:28 PM
I haven't seen one show since it was moved to Sunday nights. They should have left it on Mondays - Why mess with a good thing???

ruthie is never happy unless she gets what she wants...greedy little brat.

im so excited about ruthie going to be on the show again

As much as i love Ruthie i dont like the storyline of 7th heaven. actually all the storylines are dumb this year. There is not one good thing happening yet. 7th heaven was good in the first 9 seasons then it went and got all soap opera-y not cool. but i am glad they are having rutie back maybe this will change the outcome of the season!! im hoping that the season will get better or i might have to stop watching and use my time for something better!!!
Posted by: Anon | November 9, 2006 3:33 PM
not happy ...i dont mean the dogs name either... last season of 7th was my last and it was closure..
instead you cancel EVERWOOD which you SHOULD NOT HAVE EVER CANCELED .but you ( CW ) rather show some stupid wrestling show... instead of quality programs.
leave sports on sports channels

i just want her to be happy!!!!
and i want cecilia back

If anyone's more excited than I am to see Ruthie back I'd love to meet them!
Also, this isn't just a guest appearance...she's back for good. Apparently it took 6 episodes to negotiate a returning contract. And it looks like in February, she and T-Bone will be getting a little lovey dovey!
Posted by: Anthony | November 9, 2006 1:45 PM
So PSYCHED to have her back. And...it's not a guest appearance. According to spoilers, and script sides, she is back for the rest of the season!!! Of course she'll give us some zingers but that's what we love about her! YEAH! Welcome back, Mack!
