Justice League Film: Fact or Fiction?

Justice League

Smallville fans, your wishes may soon be granted... sort of. While we have not heard anything more about a Justice League spin-off for The CW, a Justice League movie may be in the works. Kiernan and Michele Mulroney are the hired hands, according to Zap2it.com. No word yet on casting or directing.

What do you think of this latest development? Would you rather see a big screen interpretation, or do you think The CW should still give a series based on the Justice League a shot?

MORE: Episode description for 'Promise," airing Thursday, March 15!

EVEN MORE: John Glover to star on Broadway!

There needs to be a Justice League show! And they need to use the same guys from Smallville.

Despite what the first person to post on this subject thinks, I believe it is feasable. Look at movies like the X-Men and Fantastic Four. Both film franchises have mulitple superheroes and both are sucessful. Yes it may be tricky because of the Superman and Batman movies and the Wonder Woman and Flash movies in the works, but it may still happen.

Yay for John Glover! That's a good musical.

A JL movie is probably not going to happen. Superman and Batman Begins are already successful on their own, while Wonder Woman and the Flash movies are in development - not to mention, the cost of five superheros, stars and special effects? The budget for SR? 200 million + (depending who you listen to) alone, and they want to bring five of them to the screen? Right, not going to happen, I think.

Getting one hero on a show might actually prove more popular - you know, if the CW wasn't picking up hell-on-earth pilots and what looks to be cheap knockoffs of Brimstone and The Collector.

The CW should Diffently have a JL show!

Yet another week without our beloved new smallville episode = (

Thats cool. I would like a JL tv show it would be cool to see how they would do it in 2007 and all.
