Smallville: Evil Clark Emerges
Ah, Red Kryptonite, our reliable friend. Let’s face it, everybody is more fun when they fall under the influence of the red rock. We almost wish they broke it out more often.
We love bitchy Red-influenced Clark speaking his mind. Yeah, yeah, he’s a mean krypto-drunk, but damn, it’s fun to watch everyone around him squirm. Calling out his mom for hooking up with Lionel? Mocking Lex for trying to compete for Lana? Torturing Chloe with her long-buried crush? Great stuff. Our favorite moment, however, was when he was pursuing Lana and Lois tried to intervene. “She’s your past; I’m your future,” Lois said. “Yeah, but now it’s the present.” Ouch. That was a low blow – and all the more delightful for it.
We just wish Clark hadn’t wasted his krypto-bender pining over Lana. It makes sense, we guess – Clark wouldn’t be the first person to look up an ex when he was under the influence (and we’ll admit to some shameful drunken dialing incidents in our past), but shouldn’t he have spent his Red moments having more fun? Oh well. Maybe next time.
We loved Lois’ krypto-crush as well. Whitesnake power ballads? Fake tattoos? Pussycat Doll wardrobe choices? Bwah! The poor girl had it bad. It’s a shame (and a bit of a cheat) she doesn’t remember anything.
Finally, how cool was Lex’s evil little reveal at the end? What do you think – did he engineer the pregnancy so he could use Lana as an incubator for some demonic experiment? Is he just taking advantage or her pregnancy to run some sort of test? We’re much happier thinking Lex is using Lana for his own fiendish ends rather than Lana is somehow redeeming him. We like our villains villainous, thank you very much.
So what did you think of the episode? Will Lex and Lana last? Are Chloe and Jimmy broken up for good? Will Lois and Clark get back together? Do you prefer good Clark or mean Clark? And just what is Lex up to? Share in the comments!

ok, guys i loved crimson... lois and clark together ohh my god they rocked.. lois is the best i think is the best lois lane of all times because of her spirit of independence and she knows how to kick butt and she is so fun, clark soooo digs her mojo.. i think the writers should make an episode outside of smallville or metropolis i dont know like a beach or something cabo might be a good idea, somewhere where lois and clark hook up for reals i mean that would be great.... something out of the smallville routine would be sooo great!! i love lois and clark together they soo like each other and they are meant to be! that is obvious! lana oh poor thing there's no hope for her anymore she is just too boring.. get her out of smallville im sick of her already! by the way you know who i think makes a cute couple? chloe and oliver queen! wow i think they probably would look great together! chloe liked him when she first saw him, it can be told by the look she had on her eyes the day she met him that clark introduced him to her!! u should work something between those two out! that would be awesome! i love smallville it is the best show everrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

crimson rocked!!! i have no words jaja, lois and clark wow chemistry we all love to see it's funny in all the episodes well most of them when they have a scene together clark practically chokes on himself when he sees lois, he is a sexy papa and when he is under red-k he releases all his inhibitions, he showed lois his powers that means deep down he really feels comfortable with lois, they have amazing chemistry we all wanna see lois and clark hit it on screen so pleaseeeeeeee we want more episodes of lois and clark together we wanna see them together already!! man they are a great couple together, it looks like lois is the type of girl clark will never get bored of. she'll definitely find the way of keeping their relationship interesting and not boring, specially cus they both kick ass together!! gotta love them together! lana is boring.... please clark let go of her already and chloe well she is nice but not for clark.... she is just his best friend!

hey dumbasses you guys r stupid. lana does appear in the real superman series. lois gets jealous cause she thinks clark still has feelings for lana. so get ur facts straight

I like when clark is bad with the red kritonye and he is so much coolewr and hooter.

I felt embarrassed for Tom and Erica. Lois is supposed to be around 19 year old, college age in Smallville. She looks mid 30's. Clark also looks a little fleshy, no longer the young Clark of Seasons 3, 4 or even the early, early part of Season 5. The characters are supposed to be college age. The illusion is a little tainted. Chloe and Lana still look like college girls. It is time for Clark to leave Smallville for his long training with Jor el. Next season should be the last. If Smallville continues after next season, it will be a SNL parody with a middle aged Lois and Clark.

i loved that episode ilove Chloe with jimmy and lois just give her another superman but the bad thing Clark and Lana are not together again I mean you know Lana still loves Clark :)

I enjoyed Crimson just for the Clois. It was fun when Jimmy set them up at the party. It was hilarious to see Clark high-tailing out of the farm. What I found interesting was Clark always wanted to be normal but when Lois accepts his normal self he wanted her to see the real Clark Kent. I enjoyed all the Lois and Clark anvils and I loved Jimmy in this episode. The final scene between Clark and Lois at the loft was a nice touch instead of sweeping under the rug.

The Clana story line is so over. I am so sick of seeing it. Chloe and Jimmy are great together. It is wonderful to see her actually happy for once. It was also great seeing him show some real personality and backbone .
I SERIOUSLY hope that Lois and Clark get together and have more onscreen time together. They have amazing chemistry. She brings out the more real fun side of Clark. Besides, it is meant to be.
Erica Durance does an amazing job and I can't wait to see more of her on Smallville!

I enjoyed seeing Clark be more strong in what he wants. Granted this season he is showing more of a mature development. Why waste time with Lana who really didn't love him like Chloe did. I mean, Lois understands him better than she did. Lois is so much stronger and tougher than Lana anyways. This season really shows that Lana knows Lex. She definitely went to the dark side when she got with him. The one thing I like about Bad Clark is he KNOWS what he wants and goes for it. The good Clark is still undecisive about things especially Lana. He needs to let her go!!!! But the great thing about the cast is they are all doing really great performances. I am proud of how they really try to portray their characters. Way to go to the cast of Smallville! Love the intro to the League. HAHA!

I'm glad he treated Lex the way he should be treated. Lex and Lana need to just end period if this isn't the last season. Would be nice to have the last season with them not get another anymore. Enough of that horrible relationship. Plus she's so clueless that she'll probably still act like she doesn't know Clark's secret eventhough he caught her yesterday.
I hope she just breaks up with Lex after finding out he stole that thing that bent on Clark. But instead she'll find out he took it, he'll say a lame speech of why and that he was protecting her and then she'll kiss him.

OK......this episode rocked. I mean yes clark is a real mean machine when he's under the Red K and he has created some crazy moments while under it but.......I think it's sort of a releif for Clarks character. He's this good guy who tells the truth and lies all the time about his secret and he keeps his feelings about crap in his head. It's good to see a side of Clark every once in awhile that's outside his normal "I don't think it's a good idea" side. He's sexy and asertive and truthful even though he kinda kills everyone's mood (except for Lois of course) and makes everyone feels like crap. But I thought Lois was hilarious while she was pining over Clark. It's weird and funny because throughout the show we've been seeing them picking on eachother and driving eachother crazy. It was cute with them together and ironic cause we know they will eventually end up together. But what really shocked me in this episode was the Lex experiment on Lana's baby. I'm so curious as to what he's really planning and if the baby is the seed to his plan to create an army like Oliver mentioned. It only proves Clarks statement of Lex looking at Lana as a trophy wife. In terms of Chloe's and Jimmy's relationship I think it might be over between them. I mean I don't know what happens to chloe or I cant pedict much about her. But I know that she probably wont end up with Clark but it was nice to see her with someone and trying to move on and get over Clark. But back to the Red K...I think that Clark should have some times with it and times without it. But Clark I think is usually better as his own regular self but I myself favor Bad asses.lol. But other than all that I loved this episode or any episode where the characters act outside their normal boundaries. It brings that once in awhile shock to the show and the wirters should keep up the work. I have watched this show since season 1 and I'm still a fan so somethings working. As an aspiring actress I hope to land a show just as good.

all that love in cstuff is in the past get the facts
chloe and or lana are going to die
justice league is clarks future

I find the scenes between Clark and Lois to be depressing and ridiculous. Who in this world would find Lois sexy other than 40-year-old guys in the prison population? I understand that Married with Children was big with the prison crowd and is this how low Smallville has to aim to get up their ratings? Bring back the original four characters: Clark, Lana, Chloe and Lex in the storylines that were seen in Seasons 1 to 3.
Posted by: Parker | February 8, 2007 6:19 PM
Someone needs to institute a rule for SV writers that the RedK crutch is done. This was a horrible episode and for all the CW pimping that this was the beginning of a "legendary" relationship? It was tawdry. It was pathetic. And it was just plain sad.
Also, Chimmy needs to go. It's an amazingly uneven relationship the way it's being played out. It's something close to the Lolita-like relationship that started between Dean and Jo on Supernatural. We have a mature, well developed Chloe saddled with a somewhat childish, if sweet and innocent Jimmy. Like the misbegotten Dean/Jo pairing which mercifully died, this relationship needs to go. Jimmy is no Clark and Chloe/Clark are something viewers have been waiting to see - we've had plenty of hints to it, and Jimmy, sweetheart that he is, isn't worth my time or worth caring about if all his presence does it change one of my fave characters into his personal cheerleader. Green Arrowville is done, Jimmy needs to go and the story needs to come back to the core four characters we've stuck around for. And in Chloe's case, not the Olsen-ized version of her.

Hey guys, Michael here again. I was watching my dvd boxset of Smallville season 5 last night. There was an episode that reminded me of a question I have always had. What ever happened to Lana and college? What ever happened to Lana and her research in the meteor shower? Just a thought.
Also, I can't wait for tonight's episode, it's going to be slammin'!
Ok, bye guys!

Smallville isn't attracting new audience and the series is turning off the diehard fans, especially those of us who have watched the show from the pilot. The Zod storyline, Lex-Lana and baby, middle aged Lois looking twenty years older than the Lois in the movie, the wrecking crew approach to character destruction are destorying all the charm and affection viewers have for the series. Clark looking puffy, Lois acting like a skank and lame Green Arrow are all putting viewers to sleep. Where is the charm from past shows like Accelerate, Zero, Hidden, Calling, Heat, X-Ray, Mortal. I think the second season was the best. I just watched them again last night and I can't get over how good they were. There were stories and character development that were really exciting and fun to watch. The writers and producers have forgotten that viewers want to see the GOOD GUYS win and the Bad GUYS lose. Lex got the girl, got the baby, got the power and the viewers got shafted. I think I am done with the show and that is really a sad ending for me after so many years of supporting the show. We watched Clark and Lana for over five years and this is the wrecking crew ending to their relationship. Thanks alot for the fraud and the misleading buildup to nothing.

clark should be with lois!! their wittyness between each other is so cute. i like cloe's character and how shes always there for him but i feel like she always get the short end of the stick, they need to make her character get over clark!! and make jimmy some kind of a hero so cloe can have a REAL man by her side. lana deserves waht she's getting, and clana needs to be over!! for the entire show, its the two of them and for some strange reason, their relationship is always off, one way or the other. GO CLOIS!!!!

that was a ok episode. The first have sucked. What is Lex cookind in Lanas ovan and does Lana really Know Clark's secret? People pleace remember lex has know kids and ther is no cloe
Posted by: bailee | February 7, 2007 4:37 PM
Here is a thought. Remember a few seasons ago when Chloe used Lois Lane in an article as a pen name? I think Clark and Chloe are great together. Maybe the writers will bump of Lois in some tragic ending and Chloe becomes Lois Lane as a tribute to her cousin. Maybe a bad idea, but I but some of you like the idea.

that lana and clark need to get back togeather already

ok guys. lois is supposed to be older than clark. she's in her mid twenties, hence the reason why she looks older. and please dont forget that in the real superman series, lana doesnt exsist, lex doesnt have children, and clark and lois are married!!! its only a matter of time before smallville begins to head towards the comic book. they cant change the superman legacy!!
Posted by: maru | February 7, 2007 9:42 AM
Clark kissing a pregnant lady was gross and skanky. No more Lana! No more 'ships! Let's just get some decent Supermanly action going!

The clois was sickening. Never again, please.

Clark, without his shirt, doesn't look like he did in SPELL. Both Clark and Lois look a little “long in the tooth in the Crimson scenes. There isn't anything wrong with two middle-aged people hooting it up but they are just not sexy together. Clark appearance changed a lot since Mortal and Spell. It is really time for the crew of Smallville to think about hanging it up soon. My roommates were snickering watching Lois; she looks like a Denny waitress in Las Vegas

Hey guys, Michael again. Had a comment about Lana. It's a shame to me Lana hasn't been able to have her space from men. I guess it kind of relates to real life but, when Lana gets her heart broken there's already a guy who wants to sweep her off her feet or something. The sad part is she's not even ready to dive into another relationship. I wish the character could have had her space from men. This way, is is able to figure herself out and also figure out what kind of man she truly needs in her life. Because men in her life don't give her any breathing room she is not able to grow. Just like in realy life.

Its good to see Clark remembering the bride, where it all started.

Hey I think you guys are doing a great job for this show, I mean, keeping your fans in controversy is exactly what boosts raitings! And they all fall for it like sick puppies! LOL Hey, wherever this show goes I'm with ya every step of the way, I mean I'm so a Clois fan, and she's super hot! That is the future!

Well, Clark's line of "Can't say that I haven't thought about it" pretty much disproves your statement.....PERIOD!
On a different note, Is anybody else sick of them trying to Nerdify....or Olson-ise Chloe. One minute she looks completely gorgeous, like at the reception, but when talking with Jimmy about delegating, she looked totally nerdy. I usually don't say that I would stop watching this show for any given reason....because I usually know that I would still watch.....but if they break up Chimmy just to put them back together again. Yep, I now know that I would definitely stop watching. I'm having a hard time stomaching it as it is. But At that point, I would then know that Chlark will never happen (which would be okay so long as they give her either a real hero, or a certain Gotham Billionare that we all know), and Chloe's Wonderful sidekick status will be reduced to a sorry loser that is just settling for the Jimster. She will then truly be a pathetic character at that point, if she isn't already.
If it's going to be
Lois & Clark together with their wonderful friends Jimmy & Chloe....then I say
KILL THE BLONDE REPORTER B****!
I mean Jimmy's kind of likable, but if Chloe's gonna be reduced to being Mr. Olson's girlfriend.....then to me, She's just a big JOKE in the great scheme of things.

that episode was awsome.the previews made it look like lois really did like clark.i think they will get together.if i wrote this show,i would make him be with chloe.she looks better than lana and lois.jimmy and chloe are done.and i do not think lana and lex will last.i think lana will be w/clark again, and then they will break up,and lois will be w/clark.and does lois remember clarks secret?will lana ever find out?i hope so.well,i think she does since she saw the thing lex stabbed clark with.

I really object to this article. People watched this show for years because of Clark and Lana. Lois looks like Clark's aunt. Clark, Chloe, Lana are supposed to be in their 20's. Lois looks 40ish. Have you seen any college girls looking like Lois in any college campuses? Does someone who looks like Lois belong in a drama about people in thier twenty something? It was pathetic watching Lois clowning like she look sexy.
Posted by: Sorrystate | February 4, 2007 4:27 PM
The articles in CW Source are always so badly written and dumb. The people who run CW should do a better job of marketing their shows and not have such inept write-ups about their shows posted on an official site. Talk about really incompetent and bad management of their resources.
Posted by: Regis | February 4, 2007 4:20 PM
This episode shows that Kristin Kreuk is an actress who can move on to better roles. The chemistry Kristin has with Tom makes Smallville more than a comic book show. CW cannot capture much of an audience. The network needs a show like Smallville but I don't think that Smallville should go on to an 8th season. The 7th season should wrap it up and have Lana finds out about Clark and Clark going on to his training with Joe-el. Lois is miscast for Smallville. She looks about a decade or more older than all the other cast members and she looks and act like Maj. Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan from Mash. I like Lois the character in the Superman mythos, but I am so turned off by the Lois in Smallville. Dragging this show out to Season 8 would be such a mistake. I have such an affection for all the original characters: Clark, Lana, Chloe, Lex, Martha, Jonathan and watching Lana turned into a victim continuously just isn’t fun. I would like to preserve the feelings I had when I watched the series.... so TV Gods, please give us a great ending in Season 7.
Posted by: Kalu | February 4, 2007 4:02 PM
I think if there's going to be a season 7, "Justice" is the template to follow. We don't need to see every member of the JL every week but an emphasis on action, humor, Lex's plotting and Clark's heroics is a lot more appealing to watch than the never-ending, snail-paced Clark/Lex/Lana triangle. We know Lana doesn't end up with either guy anyway. The show should write her off and move on.
Posted by: callie | February 3, 2007 11:39 PM
YOU CREATED THE PERFECT CLARK GIRL FRIEND. HER NAME IS CHLOE. DURING THE LAST SIX YEARS YOU AND ALLISON HAVE DEVELOPPED THIS AMAZING CHARACTER. WE WANT CHLARK.
Posted by: BOUROUX | February 3, 2007 9:36 PM
Best line of the episode was "This is the present" from Clark! Hahaha...get that Lois?
Anyway, the first half was a complete waste. You can't find a couple without any chemistry like Clark and Lois. She looks much older than Clark!
I hope Chimmy isn't over yet. They've got to get back together when Chloe finally sorts out her feelings for Clark...and that it's only friendship. Period.
The second half was so worth watching despite the sucky first half. The main triangle in focus was great!
I guess, like myself, the general public watching SV preferred the 2nd half:
"Marc Berman (MediaWeek) provided the breakdown for Crimson. His response:
Smallville
8:00 p.m. V: 4.57 million, A18-49: 1.9/ 5
8:30 p.m. V: 5.30 million, A18-49: 2.2/ 5"
Posted by: LanaLKent | February 3, 2007 7:49 PM
Lex and Lana will last - spoilers and articles in papers already confirm that.
Chloe and Jimmy have had their time, and something that started off sweet and entertaining to watch just isn't anymore. She is completely out of his league and watching them is an exercise in patience. Chloe is settling and Jimmy knows it. Let that 'ship end gracefully.
Clark and Lois get back together? They were "together" becuase of RedK. That's hardly an auspicious beginning, or legendary in any sense. At the rate the show is going, it's just sad.
Posted by: Tig | February 3, 2007 7:13 PM
Ok, I totally agree with the comment that Clark should be with Chloe. I have nothing against Lois but her personality just doesn't fit with Clark's! Chloe has ALWAYS been there for Clark and obviously he can trust her. They just go together like peanut butter and jelly! Why not have something happen to Lois and Chloe that leads to Chloe taking Lois's name? There ya go!

Al Gough and Miles Millar, we are all dumber now for having watched this episode. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your souls.

U kno wat i think is that clark might have gotten lana pregnant. i kno it seems weird but maybe it was a few seasons back when he endured red kryptonite and seeing the weird affects that happen with kryptons and kryptonite he might have made the baby but due to the facts it miight have toooken a lil longer to develop and lex might played with it which is why it turns out to be conner (kon-el) and clark should be with lana and no one else forget the comics an anything else said lois should be with the green arrow another thing that might have sub dued the baby fro m growing is that the period where she got the powers from one of the 3 elements yea so u kno itz just a lil theory i came up with
O AND BRING PETE BACK
another thing that annoys me is how easily he could have married lana and wat not by flying ovefr to her as soon as she called(the second time) sstopin the bus or pulling her out the door. i mean god it annoys me so badly how stupid they make clark sometimes.and if something the time passed and the close loved 1 hgas died so why doesnt he just tell her his secret know i mean come on anywayz plaese answer my questions f u can asap
Posted by: Fabian | February 3, 2007 9:51 AM
That episode was so cool.red kryptonite is one of the best things they invented!!!! i think lois and clark have just started some thing beutiful(lol) lana is a little scapegoat for lex and i think she just figured out the details. Jimmy u asshole cloe and clark is never gonna happen make a move before Flash even thogh that would be better
Posted by: henock | February 3, 2007 6:57 AM
First of all, how mean can Chloe get? She should've been the one to bring Lois to the party, but she was actually annoyed at Jimmy for bringing her? Really, I really hated Chloe in that scene. Why is she so jealous and insecure of Lois? Chloe couldn't get any worst.
Crimson proved that Tom and Erica have the best chemistry of the show. I am looking forward to seeing more of their interactions.
I loved the episode overall, Tom & Erica were awesome. Loved the Clois future anvils. But Al & Miles, enough with the anvils, bring the future already, we are eagerly waiting.
Thanks for Crimson. I loved it. Thanks for officially announcing that Lois & Clark is destiny and no one can change it.
Posted by: Ella Winchester | February 3, 2007 2:53 AM
I loved, loved, loved this episode.
Clark/Lois were hot and funny together.
It was sad to see Jimmy and Chloe break up. But I think that Jimmy did the right thing, given that he doesn't know about Clark's superpowers. I'm not exactly sure why Chloe couldn't just say that Clark was out of line. Even if Clark was under the influence, he was still out of line.
The Clark/Lois DP Flight was amazing. Actually, I got a huge kick out of the anvils. Why not? It's fun to remember that this a prequel and we know things about the character's futures that they don't.
Personally, I thought it was interesting that Clark tells off everyone and is very nasty to them -- except Lois. When it comes to Lois, he just says, "But this is the present" and then brushes past her. He doesn't negate that she's his future. He just basically says that he's not ready to address that, yet.
That's okay, Clark. I'm wllling to wait! :)
Posted by: sana | February 3, 2007 12:01 AM
I don't think his comment to Lois is low blow at all. In fact, she's the only one who got away unscathed, and it's not simply because she forgot everything in the end. When Lois said I'm your future, he didn't even deny it. With his current pissy mood, that should be a great opportunity for him to mock and shoot her down, but he didn't.
It's a wonder he was simply let off the hook for what he has done. RedK or not, him kidnapping and manhandling a pregnant woman should already be good enough reason for everyone to beat him up.
Posted by: seacrystal | February 2, 2007 9:58 PM
Crimson was a good one and after a long time we got a fun episode plus the loads of future anvils for Clark and Lois. oops.. Lois and Clark.
If it wasn't for the nth Clana revisit, the episode could've been great.
I would've loved how RedK Clark would have behaved with a normal Lois. I mean if our Miss Lane would've been her usual bossy and stuck up self, then we'll see how Kal can woo her.
Anyway, it was a cute way to explore Tom Welling & Erica Durance's chemistry & set things up for upcoming episodes. I loved all their kisses, HOT! What I love about TW/ED is their chemistry is not the teenage high school puppy love type of chemistry. They are more mature with each other & they have exactly the kind of dynamic you need with Lois and Clark.
I also loved the fact that Clark was not the horny teenager type with Lois like he was with Alicia. With Lois he was very subtle and the whole conversation about Lois saying he's a farmboy and Clark trying to prove he is more was a mirror of their inner feelings.
The end scene in the barn is what was really important. It was a moment of realization for both Clark and Lois that they have something more than friendship.
I loved the episode and how they openly established that future IS Lois Lane and no other girl.
I hope now Clana ends for good & we see the development of Clark and Lois's relationship based on their newfound feelings.
Can't wait for next week.

Wow. What an episode. HUGE episode.
Question: what the hell is Lex baking in Lana's oven???
Anyway, I think Michael and Kristin have a great chemistry. That scene on the baby's room was very well-built.
Another question: Now that Shelby is back, Lionel is missing? Where was he?
Now, about Martha... I love her, she's great! Doesn't she gives just the best advice ever? Really, it's time for Clark to leave the pregnant future Mrs.Lex Luthor alone, she needs to find out her path on her own. Thank you, Martha, for telling him what we all have been wanting to tell. About Clana... I LOVED Lana's line, that said "You don't love me, Clark." Indeed, Clark loves that perfect-girl image of her. Like Lana said, Clark just can't stand seeing her with anyone else. I'm actually glad she has "found out" about his powers, because - other than being Comic Books-canon, if the show does it right they can bring a side of Clana we've never seen before: the friendship.
Chloe was... I mean, we actually saw a little bit of jealous towards Lois and Clark. Sure, it must be a shock to see your cousin all over your best friend when she's used to see them bicker, argue and occasionally flirt. But honestly, where was that girl that was playing the hilarious cupid between those two three episodes ago? I certainly missed her. And oh, she was really hurt about the breakup. I think now that it happened, she'll look inside herself and realize longing for Clark is a waste of time, and how much she really cares about Jimmy and she hadn't figured. I hope they get back together, they're so cute!!! Oh, and Jimmy... well, Jimmy Olsen rocks!!! Aaron Ashmore was wonderful. Damn, the boy could work as a cupid, he sure has the gift for it! "You've got to admit, they've got chemistry."
They sure do, the entire episode was a living proof of it.
Kal... Kal is a jerk! Pure hot stuff, but still a jerk. Even though everything he said was pretty much the truth. I HATED when he left Lois to kidnap Lana. Yeah, sure, Lana is his past, Lois is his future and this is the present, but see, the future won't come if you don't let the past go, and right now, that's exactly what our Clark needs to do.
ANOTHER amazing performance of Erica Durance. It was so hilarious, her 'madly in love with Clark' state and the way she played it was fantastic. Now, the highlight of the episode, needless to say, was Lois & Clark.
It was wonderful from the innocent set-up to the loft scene. And when Lois snapped into the love potion... poor, poor turned-on Clarkie!!! I laughed so hard at those scenes where Lois was all over Clark and he was just "OKAY, what's going on????" And there were these seconds, after she was done with her flirting, when he just looked at her, seeming completely lost, when I actually thought he would kiss her. But then he just snapped out of it. And he RAN AWAY!! He superspeeded out of there, running for his life, poor thing. And the tattoo... the look on Clark's face was like WHOA!
And the chemistry... oh my, the chemistry. It nearly blew up my computer screen when I watched it, today. Those two definitely hit it off. I mean, the chemistry between Tom and Erica has always been awesome, but those make-out sessions... when Lois grabbed his jacket and threw him into that phone booth... ROWR!!! The whole place would have burst into flames if they both weren't meant to live. And Tom and Erica playing a couple are absolutely adorable. The way Clark hugged her from behind on the DP was so cute. They looked so natural. Funny, funny thing, there were moments where it didn't look like they were affected at all. I also thought it was very nice how she recognized Clark's kiss and ended up finding out Oliver was Green Arrow, way to go, CW, for continuity, we all needed that. Kal... I've never seen him playful with anyone before. Everytime he snapped into Red-K he was always rude towards women - pretty much like he was with Lana, when he kidnapped her later. But with Lois he was playful, happy and teasing, and it was SO nice. This is getting big already, but I can't stop. This whole episode was one big, fat anvil! There were SO many hints about Lois & Clark's future and they were NOT suble. And that woman saying "Lois and Clark's destinies are a little more entwined than they realize." was like a big sign falling from the sky. The Superman-ish songs on the background... and the flight! Oh, the flight!!! It was SOOOOO sweet and like the movies!!! That was seriously romantic. It gave me the warm fuzzies. And her reaction to the flight was perfect. She looked up at him and smiled, while they were flying, and when they landed, all she could do was grin. Now, when I thought it couldn't get any better... we get a post-Red-K loft scene!!!
How cute was that??? The awkward tension on the beginning of the scene was palpable. But then, after Clark realized Lois was way more nervous than he was, he was SOOOO having fun, seeing her all disturbed! She was sooo uncomfortable, and he was just raising his eyebrows and smirking, pretending to know he had no idea what she was talking about and actually trying to make her say it! And then, when he hands her the CD, he's all ready to tease her about it, but she says "Whitesnake. Wow. I must have really liked you." That totally threw him off his game. The glances they exchanged on this part were just... perfect. There was definitely something there. The way Clark's smile faded when he saw that it actually had a deeper meaning behind it than just a little gift... And she was so vulnerable. They looked so scared and nervous. It was so nice to watch.

I thought the las t episode was probably the best episode!! It is so fun when clark is under the influence of red kryptonite.I loved it when he and lois trashed Lex's dinner.(By the way Lois was looking so hot!!!)I think clark and lois will make a fine couple.

Wow. So. Smallville is a soap opera. Nice to have that confirmed and out in the open. Episode was hideously awful, and Clark's big wedding rant was hilarious, yet pathetic. This episode was Creamed Radishes And Peas on toast.

I don't know why I watched, I knew it was going to be a pile of dren train wreck before I tuned in.
I will say I liked all the empty anvils. They look heavy on the surface but if you look deeper they really are lighter then they appear.
Especially since anvils without character development are anvils without substance. Instead of building EDLois as a character and towards the icon they tear her down even more.

Crimson
This is one of the funniest, sexiest, most intense episodes of Smallville ever. I laughed throughout the Lois and Clark whirl-wind, Red-K romance. Erica Durance found ways to add vulnerability and honest to Lois’ hilarious situation. For the first time Lois has honestly considered Clark as a man. That last Lois and Clark scene was wonderful. “I must have really liked you.”
I thoroughly enjoyed the Chloe/Jimmy wonderful Valentine’s Day. I’m stubbornly considering the tearful breakup to be temporary. Chloe will deal with her Clark-worshiping issues and get Jimmy back!
The scene between Lex and Lana in the baby’s room was touching. I loved what Lana said about not wanting the world to know and speculate. In a backwards way Lex got his wish. Red-K Clark broke the baby news. From the time Clark entered the party the episode was wonderfully revelation-filled. Clark goes along the table at the Luthor celebration, telling it like it is, but it doesn’t stop there.
Martha tells Clark like it is before the end. Jimmy tells Chloe like it is. Lana told Clark who told Lana who told Lex who told Clark like it is! Yay! Kick that hornet’s nest!
So now I’m just looking forward to the fallout. I’ll miss Lois but… I’m excited to see what unfolds in the aftermath of Crimson.
Oh yeah, the unbaby. Well KK spilled the beans a little while ago that it was “not quite” a baby so… Lex is genetically engineering an unbaby in Lana’s womb. I’m guessing it’s something to do with all of his 33.1 studies. A doctor figured out how do isolate healing ability (“Rage”) so maybe he’s engineering a superbaby! LOL!

This episode was good but also bad. That quote where lois says lana is your past, im your future, blah, blah, that was the best line ever on smallville to date in my opinion. As far as Clark's relationships go, I really enjoyed when Clark was with Alicia Baker, and when she died I was really heartbroken. I thought that Clalicia could have been together forever if she didn't die. Anyways, I liked how evil Clark owned Lex and Lana and just about everyone else, but I hated how he really screwed with Chloe's feelings towards him. He pretty much broke up Chloe and that loser Jimmy. Chloe obviously loves Clark and she has protected his secret with her life. Thats why I wouldn't mind if Clark started dating
Chloe again, even though nothing good will come from that. Clark definetly needs to solve this problem with Lana and Chloe and stop playing with peoples emotions. On the other hand, however, I completely understand that Clark has to make very tough decisions about his love life and its really not his fault that everyone loves him.

fantastic episode!!!!!!!the best so far, i laughed my head off. Tom welling and Erica Durance did a marvellous job and have great chemistry. I just hope you'll stop the clana stuff, it is really getting annoying. She seems to prevent him from evolving and it is getting so boring. Bring on clois for god's sake! next season might be the last one, so please don't put clois together on the very last episode because it would definetly ruin my whole impression of smallville! those too are the highlight of the show either together or individually, so more scenes together would be just a huge present for us fans.

Crappy episode. Made me dislike Clark..love Chloe even more for all the crap she had to stand.
Clois was forced and fake. Erica wasn't at her best, Allison already did it in Devoted and better.
Clana was boring and repeatative.
Clark sucks.

I enjoyed most of it. Could deal without the Lana drama since that storyline is often stuck in limbo. The only positive thing that came out of it was her finding out something was definitely different about Clark and the fact that Lex is doing something he probably shouldn't be doing.
Lois and Clark? I have no words. So entertaining. Durance can pull comedy and romance really well.

Okay, the Chlark in this episode was awesome they are just soo good together, I loved the first scenes between them and what's with Lois buying a lipstick that has meteor rocks??? Please!!! hit her with something!! :)
The Daily Planet scene :).
Really, who also thought this scene between Clark and Chloe was amazing??? I mean the poor thing was totally freaked out by the fact.... "Lois is into him" !!! I loved this, he was like... argh!!! Help!!! This was totally cute, and the way Chloe just… loses it, ‘cause really at this point is just funny the way he behaves, likes he just want to hide behind her or something when Lois arrives :). Totally terrified!!!!
And the Kaloe?? Chloe looks petrified when Clark gets next to her and whispers into her ear, I love the fact that he just tell her that “he had thought about it” about them…
When I first read about this episode I was truly freaked out about myself, with all the Clois things but being honest here, I just didn’t saw real Clois, of course Kal takes advantage of the situation to make out with Lois, she’s a good looking woman who is throwing herself at him but he leaves her several times in the episode, ‘cause apparently she’s not that important to him.
The Clana… well I can’t wait for it to really die!!!! And how awesome was Martha here?? I almost cheered when she got and hugged Clark :), she’s an awesome Mom!!.
In the end I loved the Chlark, I love Chloe, I loved how scared of Lois Clark was :), instead of a terrific episode like Justice this was a funny one!!! I guess is okay.

Hey guys, sorry for talking too much here. I wanted to comment on sarah's comments, lol. There's no way Clark and Lois should get back together. Remember, Clark and Lois get together when he's Superman, not when he's smallville. I honestly wouldn't know what will happen with the Cloe-Jimmy situation. It will be interesting to see. I find it hard to believe Lex is using Lana for some evil scheme. She the one thing in his life that prevents him from fully becoming the ultimate evil.
bye sarah, bye guys.

It's been a while since I've made comments. I wanted to talk about the Clark-Lana kiss. I fell Clark really hurt Lana emotionally when he kissed her (for so many reasons). I know this is only a mythological T.V. show. But I do wish some day that Lana is finally at peace. I don't know if it's in this life or the next, but I hope Lana is finally ok with everything. I don't even know if Clark or Lex is even right for her. To me, the character needs to be with someone who she had chemestry with. I've followed this series from the beggining and something tells me Clark and Lana just don't fit. Maybe Lana was better off with Jason (lol).
On a side note, I hope you guys are liking the episodes now. I know you guys have been complaining about how it's not about Clark and Lana anymore, or that it is a sope opera, and the complaints have kept on coming. But now you guys got your wish. You just have to have a little faith in the show and just enjoy it. I'm a Smallville fan because the show just simply triggers me.
ok guys, bye.

This was the absolute WORST episode of Smallville I have ever had to endure. Never thought I would live to see the day I actually hated Clark. I hope KK is smart enough to not give Season 8 even a moment's consideration.
It's amazing the knack the writers/creators of this show have to regress Clark's character every single time they have an opportunity to actually move him forward. What was the point of the Clois anvils if Clark kept dumping her for Lana? Oh yeah, thanks for the not-so-subtle reminder that Clois is the future and Clana is the past/present. It would have never occurred to the regular viewer.
So long...and no thanks for all the crap.

Who in the world can stand "Bad" Clark? He was completely nasty to everyone in this ep. And if Lois can forget, then here is hoping everyone else can too. I've never seen a couple with less chemistry, IMO.

Awesome eppie bring on more CLois this was great. Alot of Anvils but AA was awesome as the loveable Jimmy and Chloe poor girl got dumped.... We need more Chimmy darn it :)
But an awesome eppie *sigh* loved Crimson!

Great review! I really enjoyed the first half of the episode but as soon as Lana got involved....the fun went away. I'd rather have seen Clark continue to cut loose all over Metropolis!
I hope the Lana's baby turns out to be Conner (aka Kon-El.) Which would make him more of a Clex baby I guess! (In the comics, Kon-El is genetically engineered by Lex using Clark's DNA.)

I loved how Jimmy tried to set up Clark and Lois. That made me laugh a lot.

clark should be with cloe

That was a fun episode nonetheless! Red kryptonite is back and better than ever! Great performances from the cast as well.
I think Lana will break things off with Lex in the process. Is she trying to kill her unborn baby by using a scalpel? Can't wait for the next episode ("Trespass")! He's not the right man for her! She needs to know that Lex was the one who hired Simone to break up with her and Clark's relationship. She needs to know!
Jimmy and Chloe are done... for good. Come on, Jimmy! Clark's your future friend. How dare you calling him out in front of Chloe like that? Guess he's on his way to his realtionship with Lucy Lane (Lois' sister).
And as for Clark and Lois -- I don't know -- their destiny is almost fulfilled. I laughed at the tattoo she displays on her left bosom. LOL! I can't beleive Lois didn't remember that Oliver was the Green Arrow.
I prefer the good Clark. How else is he gonna save the world from the Zoners this season?
I think Lex is up to his old tricks as usual... using Lana as his lab rat.

okey AMAZING
The DC part it kind look like a porn movie because of the music...bur it was EXCELLENT
Clois HOOOOOT!!!!!!!
the flysuperjump whatever...chils on my spine...the music ANVILICIOUS
Yeah you are the future and he didn't deny that!!!!
the best quote "let me make sure you didn't SPELL my name wrong" ahem...LOIS LANE PEOPLE
and did someone notice that the CD had a deeper meaning??, the way Lois and Chloe looked at it make me think about it.
And the last scene of clois!!! SUPERMAN MUSIC BABY I swear I was crying of happiness but then they break my Jimmy James heart
Bottom line Smallville LORD OF THE ANVILS.....This episode topped all the anvilicious moments that Smallville ever had
I have no more words left...I am still in shock
I really liked what Lana said "You are not on love with me"..finally someone tells Clark this and the last person that you'd expect it to do it.
Clark is in the limbo right now Lana=PAST Lois=FUTURE but acording to him this is the PRESENT...so he confirms what Lois says about past/future
The part I love about the part of the DP rooftop scene was when he climbs the edge turns around half smile then bents down and smile and says to come up with him...I melted right there RIGHT there
