Although some time has passed since the end of Gilmore Girls, I'm happy to see that some of us still express our outrage about why a show this great had to end the way it did.
To start, GG season 6 and 7 already showed signs of disbelief. Between Rory suddenly leaving Yale (funny, since no one who has watch the series from the beginning would belive that Rory was well brought up to be able to overcome Mitchum's opinion;) and a huge period of time where the GG girls would not be able to get through this together is ridiculous.
Besides this, any faithfull viewer would agree that the whole "April" thing to break Luke and Lorelai apart - honestly, we have been watching Luke as practically Rory's "dad" for all seasons... why wouldn't Luke be opened to Lorelai doing the same?
These among other things insult us fans... but we still stayed, because we loved the show.
But the worst was still to come - All we hear about of Television is the importance of rating... but I'm tired of watching what they want to show us. GG was an awesome series, like no other, where many generations could watch it together and relate to many of the caracters. And when the time came to respect the viewers by showing what they wanted to see, it didn't matter, because they just assumed that WE would watch whatever they'd give us. It doesn't matter that Amy Palladino and the whole crew at GG were producing a show that was unbelivable and rich with quality that you just DON'T see on other shows.
So the truth is, they want us to watch. But when watching means securing IN WRITTING (a firm contract for 2 or 3 seasons), the audience is just not worth it.
Honestly, I can't blame the crew for stopping the show. I would be fustrated if I had a hit show for 7 series and no security. They earned that. And appartently they were right (the crew) - when they started demanding some kind of contract security, the plug got pulled.
So please stop blaming Alexis, or Amy or anyone of this terrific crew who gave us GG. Blame those who aren't interested in airing GREAT shows. And shame on you if you are still watching the CW - there are hundreds of other channels to watch - here's your chance to make a difference in their "beloved" ratings

Seriously season 7 isn't the way Bon Voyage should end. It left Loyal Fans Unhappy and if you go to the Fans Websites, they are writing to the Sponers Kellogs and various others and getting responses of Disapointments Also. CW you did a grave injustice to Your Fan Base. Season 8 will Redeem yourselves. There are many loose ends to be tied to create a better ending by Bringing back Amy and Dan to the Creative Heart of The Show and The Chemistry of the Cast to bring back the MAGIC that is GILMORE GIRLS! Quit trying to think that Reality shows are going to pass for entertainment. It's not. We want whit and acting from ACTORS and ACTRESSES! No phoney made up people... Come on already! We don't want dumbed down TV anymore! Bring us back something that will ACTUALLY Entertain not brain numb us..Otherwise we will DVR other things and watch that instead..

I won't be Watching Beauty and the Geek or and silly Top Model nonsense. Gilmore was an Smart Quippy Hysterical Sensitive Series That Held Me and Mine Captive from Day One. We Could tell When Amy and Her Husband Daniel weren't writing anymore it showed...But the entire Cast of the Gilmore Show is Perfect Chemistry and so the Show Carried on. There are still to many LOSE ENDS Don't Shut us Down like this..I will be buying more DVD's and watching less TV that is for sure. THERE is less on to watch I don't like how little there is out there anymore. WE Loved Lauren and Alexis, Scott, Kelly and Edward. Can't even name them all because You know them too. But the Characters work together so well. You just can't find that to often, without backbiting or bitterness in shows these days that make it in Tabloids!!

I know your doing that whole get rid of one show then get a brand new show that stinks, but why Gilmore Girls! This show bring mothers and daughters together, its the only tv series I've ever watched, and has been a comfort to many fans. Now fans are angry and wished it was still be running for atleast one more season. Gilmore Girls shouldn't have ended this soon and I think you are crazy for doing that, escipically with that ending! You can't let the fans go on wondering what could have happened. You just lost a whole lot of buisness and earned a lot of unhappy watchers.

Im so sad that the show is ending the last episode was good but I mean how could you end the show like that it needs a proper goodbye so I can kind of get over it! Gilmore Girls was the first show I ever watched religiously I remember being in the sixth grade and discovering this great hyserical yet brutally honest show- I literally cried for a half and hour when I saw the series finally! i don't know what it is about this show I am just so obsessed over it other shows I have been able to get over and have certainly not cried over. I have seen the reason why you have taken some of your shows off the air CW, they are either boring, or at a time when its best for them to be over but neither of those answers seem to appy to this show. CW11 you don't get it I've watched this show every week since I was little I grew up with this show,I feel you owe it to us loyal fans to tell us more and keep including us in the wonderful life of the gilmores. My mom told me, "you know it isnt real", but to me I remember laughing at lorelai's bad jokes, sarcastic humor, and her constant need for coffee. I cried when rory broke up with dean and jess, when rory graduated from highschool and then from college, when Lorelai broke up with Luke the guy that was totally right for her, and finally I cried in the last episode- after luke put together the whole suprise party he saw lorelai and when she said thank you, he said "I just like to see you happy!" That was sooo sweet so to me that show was real it took regular life and made it funny and everyone needs a good fun show to just be relaxed and entertained by -that was what gilmore girls was to me! luke and lorelai forever together! And gilmore girls forever in my heart!
please!!!!CW, make another season of the gilmore girls!

Tonight has indeed been the saddest night in the history of television... im currently crying my eyes out over the loss of the remarkable Gilmore Girls. it wasn't just a tv show... it was an hour break from reality once a week where we were taken over by the characters of Stars Hallow and put into a world that changed the way we looked at life... and tonight, that was all taken away. Go to Hell, CW.
