Supernatural anytime, best series out there. Smallville is crap it's past its sell by date and im glad it affected chloe she is annoying, good riddence to bad rubbish!

I must say that, as much as I enjoy VM, Keith's sacrifice seems a little out of place... it just doesn't even begin to compare to the other two choices. Of the two remaining Dean's sacrifice was the most heart wrenching by far. He made a deal that will end his soul in Hell in order to save his brother. The sacrifice was made even more shattering by the heavy painted image of Dean's state of mind and his painfully low self-worth. He isn't anything outside of his family, Sammy is his job and his one and all... he was given one year only, but would without a doubt have settled for seconds.
Man... poor woobie. Supernatural gets my vote in this round.

He sold his soul for his brother. I think thats about as big of a Heartwrenchin Sacrifice as you can get.

I LOVE supernatural, and that scene was SO heart tugging, but smallville won my heart in this particular competition. I luv u sammy, but chloe's tear was much more dramatic.

Keith Mars on "Veonica Mars" giving up the shreiff's election to protect his daughter. Heart-wrenching and exactly what any VM fan would understand Keith doing for his daughter.
Still makes me cry whenever I think about it.

Dean sacrifice was a total shock to myself and, im positive, to others. Again, Dean takes one for the team and makes a deal with one of the damned to save his brothers life. What could be more touching? Dean gets my vote!

It's like, duh. I was so shocked by what Dean did that I had trouble breathing for a while afterwards. It took my breath away just how low hos self-esteem really is.

Dean sells his soul with the certainty of being stuck in Hell for eternity. He sacrifices himself, strikes a poor bargain and is promised only one measly year amongst the living, to see his little brother breathe again. How does any of the other two choices even begin to compare to that?
And yay for best Dream Sequence... truly amazing episode that one.

Dean's deal in Supernatural definitely gets my vote! Not only did he give up everything for his brother, but he knew exactly what he was doing and what the cost would be, and traded himself anyway.
Another incredibly moving scene from Supernatural that completely earns my vote!
