Smallville News: Chloe Will Return!
Good news from TV Guide's Michael Ausiello -- Chloe will be back for all episodes of Smallville in season 8! Apparently those tough negotiations paid off for Allison. We're relieved!
Here's what Ausiello has to say: "[S]pecifics of the new contract -- which was signed just hours ago -- are being kept under wraps, [but] I'm told it calls for Mack to appear in all episodes produced next season. As I reported earlier this week, the actress' reps were (wisely) using the imminent departure of Smallville vet Michael Rosenbaum as leverage in the negotiations. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the strategy paid off."

The show was screwed without her. They probably shouldn't have even bothered coming back if she wasn't going to be here.

Yes I can't wait for season 8! when is it premier?! but enough of that.. You need Chloe still, shes not completely dead... Kreuk is gone but we cant lose Mike... The lex Luthor of the Series... that would ruin everything! ...cant wait though

well this is great news. i just want to say that i am from Belize and a big fan of SV from day 1 i have all the DVD's and can't wait for the season 7 to come out . also waiting for the next season to start and i think that if they started out with the main characters it should continue. we all fell in love with them.

Yesssss! I was sooo worried that she wasn't going to be on the show.
First, Rosenbaum leaves (he plays my favorite character)and if Allison would have left, I'd probably stop watching the show.

Great, yet another season of Clark running to her instead of doing research on his own.
I wouldn't mind her coming back if they'd actually use her for something else, and if they'd stop dumbing Clark down just to give her something to do.
It's the last season, get Clark into the Daily Planet and let him start developing into future Superman already.
