The Sourcies Snuggle Up with Best Couple!
We're entering week two of The Sourcies, and we have our first winner! Supernatural's Castiel totally smote the competition in the Favorite Newcomer category, reducing everyone else to piles of unrighteous ash. Julian from One Tree Hill put up a bit of a fight, but he was overcome by Castiel's holy wrath. Congratulations, Cas!
Today we open the voting for Best Couple, and we KNOW it's going to be controversial -- in part because of who we chose to go through. First off, we confined it to one couple per show -- we figured that was the only way to make things fair. That means your fave couple may not have made it. Sorry, but there are only so many nominees we could include.
Second, a note to Supernatural fans. You know we adore you. You know some of us ARE you. But here's the thing: Supernatural isn't really a coupley show. It's just not the point. So, we made the executive decision to leave the show out this time around. We know, we know, you hate us for that. Direct all complaints to Sarah -- as the chief SN booster, I'm the one who made the call. The rest of the crew is blameless.
Also, a lot of you nominated Sam and Dean -- they actually got the most nominations in the category! But the boys themselves had something to say about that:
Respecting their wishes, we left them off the list.

Nathan and HaleyOne Tree Hill Can you believe Nathan and Haley have been married for so long? Even with a kid, a long-distance relationship and loads of high-drama happenings around them, they still manage to generate plenty of heat. We love these two! |

Megan and WillPrivileged Much as we loved Charlie, we 'shipped Megan/Will all the way. We loved their goofy charm, and were heartbroken when they broke up at the end of the season. We were hoping the show would come back just so we could see these two get back together! |

naley all the way! they had come so far in the last 6 seasons and nathan finally reached his dream of getting into the nba with Haley there for him the whole time. I can't wait for oth season 7 :)

Totaly agree with saltgunner! Neither Ruby/Sam nor Anna/Dean - and for our favourite BROTHERS sake especialy not Sam/Dean - make couples to be considered in this category..
so i was torn between chair and naley - LOVE Chuck and Blair but they werent really a couple this season were they. so for now : Naley it is. But I cant wait to finally see "Chuck and Blair going to the movies, chuck and blair holding hands...." sigh

My choice would be Nathan and Haley (NALEY). The best tv couple I have seen for the longest time. Joy and James rock on and off screen. They will win this competition hands down!

I agree with not having Sam and Dean in the couples category but i'm disappointed you didn't have Lois and Clark from Smallville because they are my favourite couple from the CW shows.
Out of the couples nominated I have to go with Chuck and Blair, they are so hot together and have unbelievable chemistry.

I agree that Supernatural shouldn't be in the category... One of the reasons I fell in love with the show during the first season. *feels nostalgic* Okay, that clip is hilarious! Like someone said, Supernatural is awesome 'cause it dares to poke fun at itself and its fans.
But without any clips of those couples, I've got no idea of which couple to vote. I don't watch any other CW shows besides Supernatural. Maybe I just close my eyes and point, or what?

Lol, though I am a SPN fan, I'm very, very glad Sam and Dean did not make this category :P (I'm not really into wincest ;) Love that clip though, that was my favourite episode of the season!
A couple of weeks ago, if I'd had to vote for this I would have voted for Chuck and Blair. But, seeing as I have been on a OTH binge and am watching the entire series from the beginning (as I've never watched more than a few random episodes. I'm on the season 5 finale. I have it open in another window ;) I'm gonna have to vote for Nathan and Haley because I'm pretty sure they complete my life. They're just so freaking cute!

(but hopefully supernatural will be in some of the other ones that just scream out its name) just last year i think the major issue was the 'dude, thanks for having my back' which seemed to yell 'WINCHESTER FTW' but they didn't get a category.
hmm...naley is the reason i watch oth. their chemistry is the most amazing i've ever seen (for a tv show :) so my vote goes to them. chuck and blair actually are the reason i watch gossip girl, but i thought the war trying to get them to say 'i love you' (one of their biggest issues this season) was kinda just lame and cheesy.

I love Nathan and Haley, but I gotta say that Blair and Chuck beat them (for me). Maybe it is because CB is new and exciting. But they are literally perfect for each other, and that last season was AMAZING. I can't wait to see them together next year.

HAHA ... i love that scene from SPN :) i know some of the "fandom" didnt but i think its hilarious - one of the things i love about this show is how it can poke fun at itself and this time they included the fans... thats just awesome!
AND this one is too hard i can a chose b/w Blair/Chuck and Nathan/Haley... should have two rounds, married and unmarried, for this one!
